David and Jason bested 83 other teams to take home the $5000 first prize.[more] DAVID SURVIVES TORRENTIAL RAINS WITH A THIRD PLACE FINISH May 1, 2010- PARIS, Tenn.- They are calling it the 100 year flood. Almost 14 inches of rain fell in Middle Tennessee in a 48 hour period. Although there was talk of cancellation, the Weekend Series event out of Paris Landing on Kentucky Lake took off under dark skies and downpours on Saturday. David weighed in a five bass limit that tipped the scales at 20.35 pounds. Until the weighin concluded, David assumed the win was completely out of reach.
