10 ounces from All American Number 3

October 12, 2008- DECATUR, Ala.- The final weigh-in of the BFL Regional on Lake Wheeler in Alabama proved disappointing to David today. After making the top-12 cut in 7th, he hoped to inch up one spot into the top 6 and make his 3rd All American. David's 8 pound 4 ounce limit fell off of his first two days pace and his three day total of 29-07 left him 10 ounces out of the All American cut.

"If you had told me before the tournament started that I'd be standing here in the top twelve, I'd have had my doubts. So I guess I'm happy overall with my performance. But, to make it this far and go home 10 ounces short hurts. Two of my good friends, Trent Peterson and Adam Wagner, made the top six and I am happy for them. I'd love to be standing up there with them."

In five regionals, David has finished in the top-10 4 times with a 1st, 2nd, 8th, and 9th.
